UGG is derived from the name “ugly boots,” and is well known in Australia and New Zealand as a unisex style of sheepskin footwear rather than a particular brand. In the 1920’s Australian shearers first used sheepskin off-cuts to keep their feet warm in the cold outback winters, however after adaption and customisation they have developed into comfortable and warm “ugly” boots. Since then, the shearers “Ugly” boots, which are made from 100% Australian natural merino sheepskin, have gained global popularity and acceptance.
Features:
– “A” Grade Australian Merino Premium quality sheepskin
– Reinforced Heel Counter
– Toe Mudguard
– Lock Stitch Side Stitching
– IP Sole ultra-light and flexable sole
– Replaceable Ortho Tec Insole for added comfort
– Hand-made in Syndey – Australia
Size:
Ugg boots are sold in UK sizes.
Due to the wool taking up a large amount of room in the boot we suggest going up 1 or 2 sizes to fit into ugg boots.
You want the boots to be rather firm on the foot as the wool under foot will flatten out over time.
